Hello Parents!

For those of you who are involved in Beavers for the first time, we would like to welcome you! Our Beaver group is packed with Crafts, Games, Outings, Fun and Imagination.


Beavers should practice their Law, Promise and Motto.

List of items for your Beaver to bring to every Beaver Meeting!
- Beaver Hat and Vest
- Neckerchief and Woggle
- Beaver Bucket
- Indoor Shoes (A MUST!!)
- Dues - 25 Cents Brown Tail
- 50 Cents Blue Tail
- 75 Cents White Tail

Items to purchase and where to purchase them:
- A Beaver Hat
- A Beaver Vest
- Items for the "Beaver bucket" - This is usually an empty ice-cream pail that your beaver will fill with craft supplies such as: Crayons, Glue, Scissors, Markers, Pipe
cleaners, Stickers, etc... anything that will assist your beaver during craft time.
- (Optional) "Friends of the Forest" book - strongly recommended as this is the story of the Beaver colony we model ourselves after. We will read from this book on
an ongoing basis.
- (Optional) Beaver / Scouting Blanket - As children move through the programs of Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Ventures and Rovers they will acquire badges and other
items that can be attached to the blanket as either a badge of honour, a piece of family history, a warm blanket, etc...
- (Optional) Beaver books and other information - There are many books containing songs, games, activities, history, etc... for your Beaver and their family to enjoy.

Fundraisers:
- Fundraisers are a crucial part of our program. They not only provide the necessary funding for the program to run greatly but they also provide a great example for our young Beavers to experience community involvement and teamwork. You will see in the fundraising tab that we sell Scout Popcorn and perform community bottle drives.
