Queensland Scouting Association #172 - Home

Hello all and welcome to The Queensland Scouting Association #172 website.

Located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, Queensland Scouting Association #172 has been providing the opportunity for young boys and girls to become involved in the community and Scouting for over 30 years. We are sponsored by the Queensland / Diamond Cove Community Association. Our group has about 50 youth at various Scouting levels. This does not include the 20 plus volunteers. QSA 172 is part of the Southern Trails area within Chinook Council.

The various Scouting sections that are available are as follows:

Beavers: Ages 5 - 7
Cubs: Ages 8 - 10
Scouts Ages 11-14 (With an option to remain until 16)
Ventures Ages 14 - 17
Rovers Ages 18 - 26

Scouting is a wonderful way to grow, inspire, learn, become part of the community, make a difference and be with a positive minded team from the age of 5 until 26. Not to forget our amazing Group Leaders. Our volunteer Group Leaders are a LARGE part of QSA172. With out them our children would not be able to receive the opportunities that Scouting has to offer.
